Four Kashmiri youth martyred in India-held Kashmir

SRINAGAR: In their fresh act of state terrorism, Indian troops martyred four youth in Pulwama district, India-held Kashmir.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the youth were killed by the Indian troops during a cordon and search operation at Lassipora area of the district. Indian police while branding the victims as militants claimed that they were killed in an exchange of fire with the forces. Three personnel were also critically injured, they added.

The identities of the martyred youth were not ascertained till the filing of this report.

On the other hand, the authorities suspended internet services in the Pulwama and Shopian districts. Meanwhile, the Indian troops also launched a violent cordon and search operations in Qazigund and Veernag areas of the Islamabad district.

Earlier, on March 28, Indian troops had martyred three youth in occupied Kashmir’s Shopian and Hindwara districts. The Indian forces conducted raids on homes in Shopian and Hindwara districts and opened fire at the protesting youth, killing three of them.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi earlier on March 28 had expressed Pakistan’s resolve to highlight the plight of Kashmiris living in India held Kashmir at all forums.

This he stated while talking to Member European Parliament Wajid Khan and Chairman of Pak-European Union Friendship Federation Pervez Lohsar who called on him in the federal capital.

Qureshi pointed out that India’s atrocities in Occupied Kashmir were on the rise following Pulwama incident.
