NEW DELHI: A leader of India’s ruling party Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) on Thursday revealed that Narendra Modi’s claims of cross-border strike over Pakistan are only aimed at achieving his political goal of sweeping general polls.

BS Yehdiyupara, a BJP’s leader from Indian state of Karnataka, unmasking the heinous face of Modi, said escalation with Pakistan and claims of strike will ultimately benefit him in winning the polls.
“The move can help Modi in bagging at-least 22 seats in the upcoming general polls in Karnataka,” he continued.
Yehdiyupara further said that the move of Indian PM has also paid in decreasing anti-Modi wave across India.

It is pertinent to mention here that BJP is a coalition partner in Karnataka’s government with 16 seats now and the current tensions with Pakistan will help it [BJP] in sweeping the state polls.

In the wee hours of February 26, Indian aircraft intruded the LoC near Muzaffarabad sector, however they scrambled back following timely response from the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General Asif Ghafoor informed in a tweet, Indian Air Force violated the LoC and the prompt response from the Pakistan Air Force compelled Indian jets to go back.
